'Organizing for Racial Justice, 1960s and Today - An Intergenerational Conversation'

A day-long colloquium to honor the Union students who founded and led the Student Interracial Ministry, 1960 - 1968. Sponsored by The Burke Library, The Office of Alumni/ae Relations and The Office of Student Affairs. Followed by a ceremony honoring the ministries of Charles and Shirley Sherrod, awarding them “Union Medals” presented by the seminary President and Board Chair.
